Simply search for your city or treatment, browse stylist profiles, and choose a time that works for you. You'll enter your address and payment details to secure the slot.
You can cancel or reschedule through your dashboard up to 24 hours before your appointment for a full refund. For cancellations within 24 hours, a fee of 10-20% may apply to compensate the stylist for their travel and time commitment.
It depends on the service! Your stylist will let you know in the booking confirmation instructions. Generally, for cuts, clean damp hair is best. For color, unwashed hair is often preferred.
Please message your stylist through the app as soon as possible. Stylists usually have a 15-minute grace period, but significant delays might require rescheduling.
Payment is secured at the time of booking but funds are held safely until the service is completed.
Tipping is not available through the app and is not included in the service price. If you would like to tip your stylist, please do so directly in cash after your service is completed.
Some stylists charge a small travel fee to cover their time and transportation costs for coming to your location.
Yes. We verify the identity and professional qualifications of all stylists before they join Layerd. Please note that while we verify skills and background, insurance check is not performed; stylists are responsible for their own professional liability insurance.
We only share your address with the stylist once a booking is confirmed. Your location is kept private and will not be shared with hairdressers while the request is still pending.
We use industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption to secure your sensitive data, including contact details and addresses. Your bank information is also encrypted.
